  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Gets foot, clavicle surgeries

Reed announced Tuesday via social media that he underwent successful surgeries to repair a fractured collarbone and a Jones fracture in his left foot.

Surgery was expected after the wideout fractured his collarbone in last Thursday's win over the Commanders, but Reed has also elected to simultaneously get a procedure for his foot fracture, which popped up during training camp. The multiple surgeries aren't expected to alter the timeline for his return, which is estimated at 6-to-8 weeks. Even with Reed out of the picture for the next several games, the Packers still have plenty of depth at receiver on hand in Matthew Golden, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, Savion Williams and Malik Heath.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Facing 6-to-8-week absence

Reed is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks after fracturing his collarbone in Thursday's 27-18 win over the Commanders, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Rapoport previously reported Friday that Reed will undergo surgery next week to address the injury, and the estimated 6-to-8-week recovery timeline will keep him out through early-to-mid-November. The Packers will likely place Reed on injured reserve in the coming days to open up a spot on the 53-man roster. While Reed is sidelined, the Packers should have extra snaps available for all of the remaining members of their deep rotation of receivers (Matthew Golden, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, Savion Williams and Malik Heath). Through Green Bay's first two games, Doubs is the only Packers receiver to play more than 70 percent of snaps (71 percent Week 1, 74 percent Week 2).

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Hoping for November return

Reed (collarbone) will have surgery next week and hopes to return in November, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The Packers diagnosed Reed with a broken collarbone following Thursday's win over Washington. He'll presumably be placed on injured reserve soon, which could open up more playing time for fellow Green Bay wideouts Matthew Golden, Dontayvion Wicks, Savion Williams and Malik Heath. The team also may get Christian Watson (knee) back before Reed, who was playing through a Jones fracture in his foot prior to the collarbone fracture.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Diagnosed with broken collarbone

Reed suffered a broken collarbone in the first quarter of Thursday's game against the Commanders, Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com reports.

Reed fell hard on his right shoulder in the end zone in the first quarter of Thursday's game and was quickly ruled out. Coach Matt LaFleur said that Reed will miss "a lot" of time, and that he'll land on injured reserve. Reed is expected to return at some point during the regular season, but he'll be sidelined until at least late October and almost certainly longer.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Ruled out against Commanders

Reed (shoulder) has been ruled out for the rest of Thursday's game against the Commanders.

Reed exited the contest early in the first quarter after landing hard on his shoulder on a touchdown catch that was nullified by a penalty. There's no additional word on the severity of his injury, but he presumably will undergo imaging with updates to come either later Thursday or Friday. Reed was spotted with a sling on his right shoulder on the sideline in the second half, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Suffers shoulder injury

Reed is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Commanders after suffering a shoulder injury in the first quarter, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official sitereports.

Reed made a catch in the corner of the end zone on Green Bay's first possession, but the score was nullified by a penalty. To make matters worse, he immediately grabbed his shoulder and was slow to get up. Reed was spotted walking into the locker room with trainers, clearly favoring his shoulder area.
