Saints' Nick Saldiveri: Moved to IR
The Saints placed Saldiveri (knee) on injured reserve Saturday, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
Saldiveri hurt his knee against the Rams last Sunday and had to be carted to the locker room. He's now set to sit out at least four contests. Saldiveri will be eligible to return to action Week 18 against Tampa Bay on Sunday, Jan. 5, but with the Saints currently sitting on a 4-8 record and a longshot to contend for the postseason, the left guard's campaign could be over.

Saints' Nick Saldiveri: Sidelined for Week 14
Saldiveri (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Giants, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Saldiveri's absence Sunday comes as no surprise, as he was unable to practice all week after sustaining a knee injury in the Saints' Week 13 loss to the Rams. Expect Lucas Patrick to serve as New Orleans' top left guard in Week 14 in Saldiveri's stead.

Saldiveri suffered a knee injury in the third quarter, ultimately requiring a cart to get to the locker room. His status moving forward is uncertain, and if he's forced to miss any additional action, Landon Young is a top candidate to take over at left guard.

Saldiveri (shoulder) did not practice Friday and has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Saldiveri suffered a shoulder injury during the Saints' Week 7 loss to the Broncos. He is considered week-to-week with the injury, and him being ruled out for Sunday's contest comes as no surprise after he was unable to practice all week. Kyle Hergel filled in for Saldiveri following the latter's exit in Week 7, and the former could start at left guard for Sunday's game.
