  • Raiders' Charles Snowden: Remaining in Las Vegas

The Raiders re-signed Snowden on Monday.

Snowden was an exclusive rights free agent, and he'll return for a second year in Vegas. The 27-year-old started in nine of the 16 games in which he played last season, finishing with 39 tackles (18 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and four pass breakups. Snowden likely will be used in a rotational role next season if Malcolm Koonce (knee) and Maxx Crosby (ankle) are ready to suit up by the time the campaign kicks off, as expected.

  • Raiders' Charles Snowden: Starts nine games in 2024

Snowden finished the 2024 season with 39 tackles (18 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and four pass breakups across 16 games with Las Vegas.

Prior to the 2024 season, Snowden hadn't appeared in a regular-season NFL game since 2021 with the Bears, when he played a total of six defensive snaps across two games, the only previous action of his career. The Raiders, however, kept Snowden on their roster, and he even started nine of the 16 contests in which he played. The 26-year-old set career bests across the board and is slated to be an exclusive-rights free agent. It remains to be seen how he may fit in with the Raiders' new coaching staff.

  • Raiders' Charles Snowden: Secures sack in win

Snowden recorded three total tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, and a pass defensed in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Browns.

Snowden was able to secure a game-sealing sack of Deshaun Watson on Cleveland's final snap of the game. The takedown was the first full sack of Snowden's career, and he's now compiled seven total tackles (four solo), including 1.5 sacks, and a pass defensed over four games in 2024.
