Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Snags interception in loss
Lloyd recorded five total tackles (two solo) while also adding an interception in Sunday's 31-27 loss to the Bengals.
Lloyd was able to pick off quarterback Jake Browning in the fourth quarter, securing his first interception of the 2025 campaign. Through two contests this season, the linebacker has now registered nine total tackles (two solo) and an interception.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Option not exercised
The Jaguars won't exercise Lloyd's fifth-year option, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
The 2022 first-round pick out of Utah has been one of the Jaguars' top tacklers over the past three seasons, ranking second on the team with 355 total tackles across 48 regular-season contests. Lloyd has also been been a valuable asset in coverage, recording 19 passes defended, including three interceptions, since entering the league. Despite the team declining his fifth-year option, Lloyd is expected to remain one of Jacksonville's top inside linebackers in 2025, likely starting alongside Foyesade Oluokun.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Tallies second sack
Lloyd recorded six tackles (four solo) with 1.0 sacks during Jacksonville's Week 18 loss to Indianapolis.
The 26-year-old tied for fifth on the team in tackles in the season finale and recorded his second sack of the season. Lloyd totaled 113 tackles (61 solo) with 2.0 sacks, one interception and one forced fumble in 16 games this season. The 2022 first-round pick is entering the final guaranteed year of his contract in 2025, and Jacksonville will need to decide during the offseason whether to exercise his fifth-year option for 2026.

Lloyd's tackle total in Week 17 wasn't noteworthy by his standards, but the pick was his first since Week 16 of the 2022 season. He could be asked to shift out of pass-coverage mode when the Jaguars travel to take on a run-heavy Indianapolis team in Week 18.

Lloyd ranked second on the Jaguars in stops behind Darnell Savage, who finished with seven.
