Based on his last six meaningful games of last season including his Super Bowl romp, Worthy has the potential to be a must-start receiver in Fantasy. The only question is if he can maintain the role we saw in that small sample size: 8.7 targets and nearly two rushes per game, 89.1 total yards per game, 11.9 yards per catch on a 6.4 average depth of target, six total touchdowns, and 21.6 PPR points per game (five with 15-plus PPR points). Being that elite again seems like a stretch; Worthy's numbers are weighted heavily by his 8-157-2 stat line in Super Bowl LIX, and the depth of the Chiefs' receiving room is an obvious factor. But even a downtick to six targets per game would be decent -- he averaged 13.8 PPR points in nine regular-season games with at least six targets. That's a safe floor expectation. No one else on the Chiefs offers the speed, versatility, and youth that Worthy does, and coach Andy Reid applauded Worthy this offseason for improving his understanding of the offense, hinting that he'll play faster because of it. That's a scary thought for defenses but not Fantasy managers. He could also get off to a fast start for however long Rashee Rice is suspended for. Understand that Worthy has the downside of being a boom-or-bust Fantasy receiver, but if he clicks, he'll be a league-winner. The buy-in to risk it with Worthy will happen in Round 4 in every league.
Coach Andy Reid revealed Friday that Worthy, who had been in the NFL's concussion protocol, actually didn't sustain a concussion upon further evaluation Thursday, Nate Taylor of ESPN.com reports.
Worthy had exited Tuesday's practice after banging his head, but after it was determined that he was not concussed, the wideout was able to return to practice Friday. Meanwhile, fellow WRs Hollywood Brown (ankle) and Skyy Moore (hamstring) remain sidelined, per Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site.

Worthy was booked for assault against a family or household member by impeding their breathing or circulation, which is a third-degree felony, but after authorities spoke with witnesses, the district attorney is not accepting the case at this time. Worthy ended up being the lone bright spot in terms of stat lines following Kansas City's crushing loss to Philadelphia. The 21-year-old finished with game highs in receptions, yardage and touchdowns scored for either side in what was an incredible individual performance. Worthy finished his first regular season in the pros with 742 yards from scrimmage and nine total touchdowns in 17 games. His strong play in the playoffs only reinforced the youngster's bright future as a top offensive option for the Chiefs.
Worthy brought down six of seven targets for 85 yards and a touchdown while taking two carries for 16 yards in Sunday's 32-29 win over Buffalo in the AFC Championship Game.
Worthy wound up leading the Chiefs in every receiving category while also finishing as the only position player for his team to reach the century mark in total yards from scrimmage. The electric rookie made a remarkable catch near the end of the first half in which he brought down an off-kilter pass from Patrick Mahomes while being draped by two Buffalo defenders. Worthy turned in a true negative fantasy performance after losing 10 yards on his only two touches Monday. Worthy is still a key part of the offense, as evidenced by his four attempted plays Monday, and still should be considered a flex option ahead of Sunday's tilt against Denver.
