The Orioles placed O'Neill on the 10-day injured list Friday, retroactive to Aug. 6, due to right wrist inflammation, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
O'Neill jammed his wrist against the outfield wall Tuesday, and while his X-rays returned negative, the Orioles will give him an extended period of rest. Jordyn Adams was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk as part of a series of moves Friday. Look for Adams, Jeremiah Jackson and Greg Allen to see most of the work in right field while O'Neill is idle.

Rotowire
O'Neill (wrist) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game in Philadelphia.
O'Neill was removed from Tuesday's 5-0 loss after jamming his right wrist against the outfield wall, so it's no surprise he's sitting out Wednesday's matinee. Rotowire
O'Neill went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 9-6 extra-inning win over Atlanta.
In his second game since returning from the injured list, O'Neill crushed his third homer of the year.
