  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Makes franchise history Tuesday

Ramirez 3-for-4 with a double and two solo home runs in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Marlins. His second long ball of the night was a game-winner, as he took Calvin Faucher deep in the eighth inning to snap a 3-3 tie. It was Ramirez's second multi-homer performance of the season and the 27th of his career, moving him into first place on Cleveland's all-time list ahead of Jim Thome and Albert Belle. Ramirez broke out of a 2-for-25 slump with the effort, but he's been mostly locked in since the All-Star break, slashing .289/.385/.611 over his last 23 contests with seven homers, four steals, 13 RBI and 22 runs.

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a walk in Sunday's loss to Minnesota. Ramirez belted his 23rd home run of the year in the first inning Sunday. He's gone deep in two straight games and has 10 long balls over his last 26 appearances. Ramirez has also collected multiple hits in six of his last 10 appearances, vaulting his season average up to .302. He now owns a .910 OPS with 46 extra-base hits and 61 RBI through 108 games.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Smacks homer in win

Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Twins. Ramirez tied the game at 4-4 with a two-run blast in the fifth inning, and he also scored the go-ahead run in the eighth on a Bo Naylor double. This was Ramirez's third multi-hit effort in his last four games, though the homer was his first since July 22. The third baseman batted .265 over 26 games in July -- while that's a fine number, it was lower than what he managed in both May and June. He's added plenty of category coverage in 2025, slashing .300/.375/.526 for the year with 22 homers, 59 RBI, 70 runs scored and 32 stolen bases over 107 contests. Ramirez posted his second 30-30 campaign in 2024 and could repeat the feat if his power stays strong over the final two months of this campaign.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Productive in victory

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Wednesday's 5-0 win over the Rockies. Ramirez picked up multiple hits for the eighth time in the month of July, and he's now logged at least one hit in nine of his last 10 games. The All-Star third baseman continues to act as the engine for the Guardians' offense in 2025 -- Ramirez is slashing a potent .310/.391/.545 with 34 extra-base hits, 42 RBI, 55 runs scored and 25 stolen bases across 330 plate appearances since the start of May.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Another sterling performance

Ramirez went 1-for-2 with three walks, a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Orioles. The star third baseman took Brandon Young deep in the first inning, and Baltimore pitchers wanted little to do with him after that. Ramirez has been carrying the Guardians' offense since early July, slashing .283/.426/.811 over his last 15 games with eight of his 21 homers and nine of his 30 steals on the season, while adding 18 runs and 18 RBI.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Reaches 20-20 milestone in win

Ramirez went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run, a walk and two additional runs scored in Monday's 10-5 win over the Orioles. Ramirez tied the game with a three-run blast in the first inning and later came around to score in the fourth and seventh. According to Tim Stebbins of MLB.com, the 32-year-old became just the sixth player in major-league history to record seven 20-homer, 20-steal seasons, tying him for fourth on the all-time list. For the year, he's slashing .294/.364/.521 with 20 homers, 55 RBI, 60 runs scored and 29 stolen bases across 409 plate appearances.

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk Saturday in a loss to the Athletics. Ramirez accounted for Cleveland's only runs of the contest with a two-run blast in the third inning. The All-Star third baseman has gone deep six times over his past 12 games, pushing his season total to 19 homers. With one more long ball, Ramirez will record the seventh 20-20 season of his career.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Swipes three bags

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with one RBI, one run scored and three stolen bases in Saturday's 6-2 win over the White Sox. Ramirez swiped three bases for the second time this season, with the other such performance coming May 12. While he recorded just one hit in the game, the star third baseman has been locked in at the plate lately, slashing .303/.439/.788 with five homers and 10 RBI over his past nine games after a cold stretch to close June and start July. On the season, he's slashing .297/.367/.510 with 18 home runs, 17 doubles, 29 steals and 48 RBI across 91 games.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Goes yard again Friday

Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and a stolen base in the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the White Sox. The 32-year-old superstar went 0-for-4 in the matinee, although he did score a run. Ramirez kept his hot streak going in the nightcap by hooking a Jonathan Cannon cutter down the right-field line for his 18th homer of the season, and his fifth in eight games since July 4. Over that stretch, Ramirez is slashing .300/.417/.833 with five steals, nine runs and nine RBI, and after swiping a career-high 41 bags in 158 games in 2024, he's upped his pace in 2025 with 26 steals (on 31 attempts) in his first 90 contests.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Homers in three straight

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-2 win over Houston. Ramirez hit the second of back-to-back home runs in the first inning. It was the third consecutive game that he's gone deep. He later was part of a double steal in the seventh that put him in position to score the Guardians' third run. Ramirez is up to 17 home runs and 25 steals through 88 games.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Skipping out on All-Star Game

The Guardians announced Wednesday that Ramirez won't participate in 2025 All-Star Game festivities next week while he focuses on recovery and preparation for the second half of the season. Though the historically durable Ramirez has thus far avoided any trips to the injured list this season, he's been banged up at various points through the first three-plus months of the campaign. As Zack Meisel of The Athletic notes, Ramirez sprained his wrist in late March, sprained his ankle in early May, and was most recently hit in the forearm by a pitch in late June. None of the injuries are expected to hinder Ramirez moving forward, and he'll remain in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale in Houston. Expect Ramirez to continue handling his usual everyday role during the Guardians' four-game series against the White Sox later this week to close out the first half before he uses the All-Star break for extended rest and recovery. The Astros' Isaac Paredes is slated to replace Ramirez on the American League All-Star roster.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Homers again

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with two walks, a home run, two RBI, two steals and two additional runs scored in Tuesday's 10-6 extra-inning win over Houston. Ramirez got the night started with a two-run home run in the first inning to give the Guardians an early lead. It was his second straight game with a homer and his third long ball in the last four games -- it's safe to say Ramirez has moved beyond the 0-for-21 slump he endured last week. He's up to 16 home runs and 24 steals for the season.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Cranks three-run bomb

Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a double and a three-run home run in Monday's win over the Astros. The switch-hitter delivered a three-run homer off Colton Gordon in the fifth inning to provide the power Monday. Ramirez came into the contest in a slump, batting just .139/.225/.222 with one extra-base hit and three RBI over his previous 10 games. Despite the recent struggles, he continues to post strong overall numbers, slashing .298/.361/.495 with 33 extra-base hits (15 home runs), 42 RBI and 22 stolen bases through 86 games.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Stuck in slump

Ramirez went 0-for-4 in Thursday's 1-0 loss to the Cubs. Ramirez continued a hitless streak that reached 21 at-bats Thursday. Twenty of those at-bats occurred after he was hit by a pitch on the forearm and forced to miss one game. The slump dropped Ramirez's season batting average to .297, the first time it's been below .300 since May 19.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Back in Saturday's lineup

Ramirez (forearm) is starting at third base and batting third against the Cardinals on Saturday. Ramirez was hit by a pitch to his right forearm during Thursday's game against the Blue Jays. The good news was that X-rays came back negative, and he will return to action after being held out of Friday's lineup. Ramirez has slashed .301/.370/.446 with seven steals, three home runs and 10 RBI in 92 plate appearances since the beginning of June.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Officially out of lineup Friday

Ramirez (forearm) isn't part of the starting nine for Friday's game against the Cardinals. Manager Stephen Vogt said earlier Friday that Ramirez likely wouldn't be able to play Friday due to a bruised right forearm. As expected, the third baseman is out of the lineup, yielding hot-corner duties to Daniel Schneemann. Ramirez should be considered day-to-day going forward.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Likely unavailable Friday

Manager Stephen Vogt said on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM that Ramirez (forearm) is "probably not going to be able to play" Friday against the Cardinals. The 32-year-old had X-rays come back negative after being hit in the right forearm by a pitch Thursday versus Toronto, but it appears the contusion will still cause him to miss at least one game. Ramirez should be considered day-to-day until the Guardians update his status.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Reaches RBI milestone

Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Athletics. Ramirez plated the final run of the Guardians' four-run second inning to record the 900th RBI of his career. The 32-year-old owns a .324/.385/.531 slash line with 13 home runs, 36 RBI, 20 steals and 43 runs -- all of which lead the team -- over 73 games.

  • Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Goes yard Saturday

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Mariners. Ramirez has been held hitless just twice over his last 35 games, with one of those instances being Friday against the Mariners. The third baseman rebounded with a fifth-inning homer Saturday, tying the game at 2-2. As usual, Ramirez has been one of the best players in baseball in 2025, and he's doing so this year with a little more success at the plate. He's slashing .329/.391/.552 with 13 homers, 20 stolen bases, 34 RBI, 43 runs scored, 15 doubles and one triple over 67 contests. He hasn't hit over .300 in a full season since 2017, but Ramirez has all of the tools to maintain strong production across the board.
