Winfield (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Winfield will miss his fourth straight game and eighth of the season. Jordan Whitehead, Mike Edwards and Kaevon Merriweather handled safety duties for Tampa Bay last week and should do so again versus New Orleans.
