Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Shifts to IR
Fuller (knee) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
The 27-year-old safety had already been ruled out for the Falcons' Week 2 matchup against the Vikings due to a knee injury, but the issue now appears serious enough to land him on IR. Fuller played 17 total snaps (one defensive and 16 on special teams) in the Week 1 loss to the Buccaneers, failing to record a stat. With Fuller now sidelined, Xavier Watts and Jessie Bates are currently the only safeties on the Falcons' active roster without injury designations.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Out for Week 2
Fuller (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday night's game versus Minnesota, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Returning to Atlanta
The Falcons signed Fuller to a contract Thursday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
Fuller was included in the Falcons' roster cuts Tuesday, but the veteran free agent will end up returning to Atlanta and is expected to serve in a rotational role at safety behind starters Jessie Bates and 2025 third-rounder Xavier Watts. Fuller was limited to nine regular-season games with the Panthers in 2024 due to multiple injuries and finished the campaign with 54 tackles (28 solo), one pass defense and one forced fumble.

Jordan Fuller: Jettisoned by Atlanta
The Falcons released Fuller on Tuesday, Terrin Waack, Will McFadden and Tori McElhaney of the team's official site report.
Fuller signed a one-year contract with the Falcons in March after appearing in nine regular-season games for the Panthers in an injury-riddled 2024 campaign. The 2020 sixth-rounder logged five tackles (four solo) across three preseason games, but he ultimately lost out to DeMarcco Hellams and Henry Black for a depth safety spot on the Falcons' 53-man roster. Fuller has started in 55 regular-season games across five seasons, so he should receive interest from teams looking to add veteran depth in the secondary.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Joins Atlanta
Fuller agreed to a one-year contract with the Falcons on Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The 27-year-old safety will remain in the NFC South after spending his 2024 campaign with the Panthers. Fuller struggled with injuries last season, appearing in just nine games due to a hamstring injury. However, he played 1,007 defensive snaps across 17 games with the Rams in 2023, logging 94 total tackles, three interceptions and three forced fumbles. Fuller is now expected to start alongside Jessie Bates in the Atlanta secondary.

Fuller recorded 54 total tackles, one pass defended and one forced fumble across nine games in 2024.
Fuller's first season in Carolina got off to a rocky start, as he missed six of the team's first nine games on injured reserve with a hamstring issue. The Ohio State product posted his second-lowest totals in tackles and passes defended while recording the fewest interceptions of his career. He was even a healthy scratch in Weeks 16 and 17, with Carolina already eliminated from playoff contention. Fuller's first season with the Panthers may be his last, as he's set to hit unrestricted free agency after signing a one-year, $3.25 million deal last offseason.
